History of the Saraswati Sanstha’s

Saraswati Bahu-Uddeshiy Sevabhavi Sanstha Est. 2009 (SBSS) was established with a clear vision to uplift society through education, empowerment, and community service. Founded by a group of socially committed individuals, the organization has been actively working to provide quality education and skill-based training, especially to girls and women in rural and semi-urban areas.

Since its inception, SBSS has focused on addressing the educational, social, and developmental needs of the underprivileged. With a deep belief in the power of education to transform lives, the Sanstha has launched various initiatives in the fields of higher education, vocational training, women empowerment, and healthcare awareness.

In alignment with this mission, Kavya Mahila Mahavidyalay was established under the banner of SBSS. Affiliated to SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, the college aims to provide career-oriented education in Fashion Design, Home Science, and Clinical Laboratory Science empowering young women with both knowledge and employable skills.

Today, SBSS continues to grow as a beacon of social change, staying committed to its foundational goal: “Education with Purpose, Service with Compassion.”<
